Display query from URL in template

I want to get parameters from the query and display them in a page or template.

    path: '/test/',
    componentUrl: './test.html',

The Link:

          <li><a href="/test/?username=mike" class="item-link">
              <div class="item-content">
                <div class="item-inner">
                  <div class="item-title">Mikes Page</div>

What must the template / page look like?

I would like the placeholder to be replaced with the value from the query when called.

  <div class="page" data-name="user">
    <div class="navbar">
      <div class="navbar-bg"></div>
      <div class="navbar-inner sliding">
        <div class="left">
          <a href="#" class="link back">
            <i class="icon icon-back"></i>
            <span class="if-not-md"></span>
        <div class="title">User</div>
    <div class="page-content">

Link: href="/test/mike/"

I don’t use placeholders, my JS is like this:

on: {
pageInit: function (e, page) {
var username = page.route.params.username;
alert(username); // mike

Thank you, that runs well. Now if only the placeholders would work, it would be perfect.
